It'd be potentially neat if Mastodon had a "reply quality" slider on the mentions page for folks that want it.
Imagine going to the page with all your recent replies, and then dragging a slider to a level where you see the ones you're okay with but most of the annoying ones have disappeared.
Default would be off and max might hide *all* replies except from mutuals or something? You'd still receive replies, technically, you just wouldn't get notifications or see them without digging in the UI.
