It’s going to depend on the leader….
Or better stated, the quality of the leader.
Tyrants and totalitarians…dictators are still “leaders” but their #leadership lacks the healthy relationships with those they lead, in order to be as fruitful and mutually beneficial as possible.
They have relationships…simply that most of their relationships are rooted in fear, intimidation, and manipulation.
In #business , life, and impact, to be what I’d classify as a high quality or caliber leader, one must ensure the Hierarchy of Relational Leadership is in order.
1. God
2. Myself
3. Family
4. Others (Team, Friends, and Community)
Not only does the correct order need to be in place, but also the intention or energy behind said relationship must be pure and grounded in moral integrity.
Personally I derive my integrity via a Biblical Worldview.
Thus, when my relationship with God is out of alignment, all else is likely to be askew.
That’s what typically has happened with leaders whom “issue for commands than questions that are asked” or otherwise abuse the sanctity of human life.
Leaders ask more questions than give commands.
