The more I use CarPlay the more I see how much it sucks. And while I think a lot of this can only be best with hardware buttons, there’s a huge amount of low hanging fruit that can be fixed with the existing software environment.
The number of taps to do simple shit is *insane*, and far worse than my integrated MMI which has 1-press hardware buttons for all modes, and a shallow but broad HW controlled screen system.
