Nuclear powered shipping has been on my mind off and on for months. Whenever I come across a piece like this, I'm reminded just how polluting this sector is. The Netherlands has around 8000 river ships of different sizes, one of the largest fleets in the world. There's no settled route on how to make them clean. Nuclear, even for these smaller ships, can be a way to achieve that.
