Yep. Russia did that to 30% of rightful German territory a few years ago, expelled millioms of native Germans and today is Poland.
India with Gandhi did similar, millions upon millions were kicked out to what is today called Pakistan.
More recently in Europe, Bosnia kicked out about a million people who refused to be Muslims and Ukraine pretty much bombs since the past ten years their own citizens that refuse being Ukrainians.
Only rich westerners are disconnected enough from reality to remember history and even less prepared they are to understand geopolitics.
