I was discussing the latest blunder from Neuralink with my friends. They were under the impression this is all still "really cool tech".
There is no reason for any amount of optimism when:
A) There have been 0 peer-reviewed publications resulting from their research;
B) They are being investigated for a HUGE number of animal deaths (1500) in the name of "progress";
C) There's still the DRM/obsolescence challenge.
