I get the impression that there is a minority of anti-fascists who believe that voting for a democratic party is worse than just allowing the overtly fascist party to win because it “legitimates” a system that is ultimately coercive, and the clearly coercive fascists will ultimately bring about their own downfall by driving the people to revolution. I think there were a few prominent people who literally said that after Bernie lost the 2016 primary.
