If a bishop (including of Rome) goes contrary to the teachings of the Church, that's not a movement of the Holy Spirit. The pope is not an oracle.
I'm not afraid the gates of hell will prevail against the Church, but I am concerned for the people who are scandalized. I pray for God's mercy.
