Big pharma has a large presence in NJ. Bristol-Myers Squib, Merck, J&J, etc all have headquarters or large campuses within a short span of each other. This is the area where I grew up and my family still lives there.
Pfizer gave Rutgers $1M and it still is requiring students to be up to date on their covid jabs. It’s very sad what an institution will do to sell themselves for the almighty dollar. Rutgers is my Alma mater and I will never give them a dime again.
