Of all the bizarre and petty executive orders signed forcing federal workers to return to the office is arguably the most out of left field.
Those that can’t work remotely already don’t, and those that do will include a lot of technical staff who are all likely to leave for remote jobs elsewhere.
If my employer sent an email around requiring return to office, I’d reply all with my resignation. (Actually first, the union would block this).
Yet another brain drain.
