Wow, I'm glad I asked!
The first few article I read were talking about buying 5 gallon plastic barrels and things like that, and I totally got the wrong impression.
Looks like the place for me to start would be all of the glass recycling I have no way to get to the recycling depot. Reduce, reuse, recycle indeed.
