big yea. all the other things cropping up that I've seen people seriously try out are one again centralized/owned by A Company so they're always going to eventually bend toward growth rather than stability or improvement
I've been off/on mastodon since 2017 and for better or worse, it has largely stayed the same. Like you can mostly just have a cozy little experience here if you want
