I joined Mastodon when there was the mass migration from Twitter, which was partially out of fomo but also partially because the idea of Mastodon was exciting to me.
None of the new platforms are exciting to me. They're all more of the same, with slightly better/more catered ideas, but they will all be just worth it for a while and then go downhill, won't they
If I spend that time practicing my art instead, that will be worth it forever
