Two Great Horned Owls visited M15 and F23's nest in the early morning hours. See the attached video.
GHOs and bald eagles are enemies. The owls try to take over existing nests, as they do not build their own. Their night vision is better than the eagle's, and they are silent fliers. They are known to knock eagles off their perches in the middle of the night. I wonder if this is the eagle pair that lives in 'nest 2' in the west pasture.
