It is still #PrideMonth and we would like to insist on the fact that celebrating who you are as a person has nothing to do with sexuality.
Being a member of the #LGBTQIA community also means that you can be #Asexual. I am #ace and I don't feel any sexual attraction to others.
So you can be a #trans person as I am. I am a woman born into the body of a man and have no interest in sex whatsoever.
This is a bummer for the bigots who think it is all about sex and being a sinner.
Going to #pride is about realizing that society has failed to recognize who we are and won't give us a chance to be ourselves.
If society was tolerant enough we would not have to remind them to be.
