"content": "Benson Plateau Backpacking: Day 1\n\nOne might wonder why anyone would go to the Benson Plateau. First reason, I need to fill in a tiny section of the Pacific Crest Trail to have the Columbia River to Timothy Lake completed. Second, I’ve not been up here since my very first backpacking trip 20+ years ago. Fall has arrived.
