Whoever designed BER airport clearly did not consider the flow of people in their placement of staircases.
From the trains, people getting to departure must cross paths with people coming from arrivals.
It's pretty much a given that the majority of people in a rush will go to a plane, because missing a flight is way worse than missing a train that comes every 20 minutes or so.
So why...? Is the aim just to piss people off more, after everyone has been hating BER for decades already?
