i started reading about some Yōkai like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jor%C5%8Dgumo but i realized that they just made too much sense for me to be into. spider who looks like a hot lady is cool but is too much of like a cautionary tale to just be a weird lil guy out there just doing their thing.
