My eldest daughter has recently become obsessed with fandom character-based chatbots.
They know how skeptical I am of this technology, but for them it's entertainment and it lets them experiment with social skills. (Their home life when they're not with me…well, let's just say it's been rather bleak.)
Anyway, I would never use this, but I told them I could see the appeal as a sort of interactive game.
