#rust programmers: why did you decide to learn the language?
personally, i was a python programmer, and wanted to move to a language where i could distribute binaries, rather than source code and instructions to setup a virtual env. i started with C++ but had a pretty bad time with cross platform dependency management, so i decided to check out rust. it took a while to get anywhere productive with it, but i'm so glad i stuck with it!
