i think it just seems that way actually.
the programming is designed to keep us feeling like nothing is true, so our gears get stripped and we give up trying to understand.
meanwhile the mob takes everything that isn't nailed down.
i think what's happened is we now have a russian-style news system before putin cracked down when the ukraine war started.
it's bad -- that's for sure -- but it's not as bad as it seems -- imho.
i am often wrong about these things, btw.
