My dad and I were lucky to have some time right before he passed, as sad as the occasion was. My siblings and I spent three days with him around the service for his second wife after she passed six years ago. However my dad and I struggled to understand each other, we made up for a lot in those few days. He passed a few months later, of a broken heart.

This gives me hope for the eventual future. I have another son I choose not to share much about. We are estranged.
