One of those odd differences I've noticed when working with US companies vs European ones:
A lot of US companies have a 90 day email retention policy, designed to help companies "shred" documents so that eDiscovery requirements for lawsuits are harder (I'm sure there's some valid InfoSec reasons too).
Meanwhile, here's me on a quiet day deleting old emails from 2022 because I finally have time.
