On a bitcoin standard your property (what you hold in sovereign custody) is your currency (what you pay with).
This is why I am not an advocate of calling bitcoin a cryptocurrency, I like to make a distinction that it is sovereign property so as to not confuse normies.
USDT, USDC are crypto-currencies, centrally issued shitcoins that are not ideal property
