That said I also hate this feature because it’s poorly implemented.
System settings → windows update
* change active hours - this is supposed to stop the machine from rebooting during that time
* advanced settings:
turn off restart this device as soon as possible
You can also kick back updates by about a month.
I truly hate the Microsoft update mechanism …
