you can't read your own nip-44 messages, unless someone adds a multiple-encrypted shared message key like pgp email, and you also still need to have state to remember which keys you sent with so you can request them from the relay, all of that is very complicated and difficult to do at the same time as a kind of "post office protocol" style relay system
