Had a fabulous "seniors" day out with husb ystdy, took the #train from #melbourne to #Castlemaine for just under $7 return. Yes, seven dollars.
Great little country town with plenty of corners to explore.
Beautiful stroll through the Botanical Gdns followed by fabulous Italian lunch at Origini Café on Barker Street (I'd 100% recommend the pork + pine nut meatballs but honestly everything looked delish).
Followed by a visit to see the stunning local art in the Visitor Information Centre on Mostyn Street. Wow!
Brilliant day out.
