One of the finest of bon mots I've heard came from a friend who, when discussing a mutual acquaintance's progress from shouty anarcho-communist to loudmouth fascist, said he'd merely gone from douchebag to Ducé.
Not only a hat-tip to Mussolini's political switch, but a reminder of how close all authoritarian ideologies are to each other.
