Take the recent racist comments for example. Trump is used to the media hanging on his every word, and we did see the Washington Post chase him down that rabbit hole. But Harris was able to dismiss Trump as just being weird old racist Donald. 'Weird' gives people license to call the clown a clown and dismiss his nonsense. Plus it really pisses him off when people don't take him seriously. It defangs him and pisses him off. It's perfect.
