Hmm. Antagonists?
The PWF novels have actual Bad Guys - people who are looking to cause harm on purpose. (Defeating them is kind of the point!)
The romances are less clear; the 'antagonist' is loneliness? Not getting to be with the person who you love? Harder to articulate, but still unhappy.
(I mostly don't write The Evil Ex/The "Other Woman", though one of the upcoming romances has an evil ex.)
