IMO, he is either planning on exiting to FIAT so he's getting one step closer to the offramp or this is being done for opsec reasons.
Numerous Bitcoiners have been reposting news articles (some of them months old) about people with crypto getting robbed and I've personally see a lot of people I know spooked all over again.
