working as a developer was a bit lonely. minimal human interaction. but working in call centres was exhausting. not THAT kind of human interaction, please. several people have suggested that maybe teaching would work as a job. working in a classroom with bored children? nah. maybe music teaching with individual students. but i don't really have professional level mastery of any instrument. i could teach computer programming on a professional level to individual students though, but i'm not aware that this is a skill anyone pays for.
