As maybe McGilchrist would put it, our collective emissary created a world of scarcity. Bitcoin provides an optional exit from that world. Without scarcity, the biological process of meaning making is able to drive bitcoin adoption. And with each step toward adoption, the scarcity in the emissary’s world grows greater and greater.
