Over on fedi, if I see a user I don't want to see, I just mute and block if needed. But they still have a chance to reach me at first.
You insult your userbase by making that decision for them without even asking. Not that I entirely disagree, of course, since most of nostr is a never-ending bitcoin circlejerk, but I digress.
Still, as the app developer who has put the work in and gained the audience, you have that right. Just don't expect your users to ever be anything more than they are right now--the lowest common denominator.
