On not having a mind’s eye:
I only recently learned about #aphantasia. It was like the world made sense when I did. I have never been able to ‘picture an apple’, or my dog, or my spouse, or even myself. That’s why I love taking photos with film cameras: the closing of the shutter helps to keep a picture for me, literally.
In my dreams, I have no vivid images. Or any, at all. In fact most of my brain is simply.. words, feelings.
You probably can’t imagine *that* but
