As time goes on I am becoming more and more convinced that personal responsibility is not a necessary and unfortunate cost in order to achieve a valuable and important freedom. I now believe that having to experience freedom is the unfortunate cost people have to pay in order to be resppnsible for themselves.
Nobody cares about whether they are able to do whatever they want or act apart from society. What REALLY upsets people is when you tell them that they aren't responsible for any of the things that they accomplish or care about.
