I've just finished watching the new Shogun series. It's an excellent piece of entertainment, and definitely also entertaining if you've read the book already.
Especially the scene of the council with Hiromatsu's death was amazingly acted from all involved.
I also liked what they did with Blackthorne, putting him way further in the background than the book did.
