If you are wondering, each barrel is 50 US gallons. It'll be something less than that with all of the rocks. I filled up the last 10 or 12in with pea gravel yesterday. That will be what the plants in the top of the barrel will grow in. For now, the top outlet going back into the ponds will be just the regular hose connections from the top of the barrels. Those will probably not be big enough, but I'll use that for now and then see what we do next. The spigots are clean out valves. I'm using the black drainage pipe to direct the water from the valves away from the pond and the rest of the garden just so it doesn't get waterlogged. #pandemicPond #pondlife #garden #bogfilter
