Most Americans are * really weird * about public transportation, maybe less in NYC and possibly SF, but I remember this time in Florence we had an American in one of my art classes and she absolutely refused to and was literally disgusted that our EU classmates suggested we take the bus around. Ubers and taxis are highly inefficient in certain places and yet she just refused lol. So that’s another big issue…",
