killing characters
It’s not something I enjoy at all. Characters are as dear to me as they are to the characters who lose them.
Even some antagonist losses leave behind a bittersweet taste.
Deaths are rare, but they do happen. Each loss must make sense, not occur for cheap shock value. Characters mourn the loss, as do I, the character given their due respect.
It’s always a decision I weigh at length, & one I try to avoid.
