uv just dropped a CI-optimized cache purge and while implementing it I’ve realized that build-and-inspect-python-package didn’t actually store the cache dir (anymore?) due to path restrictions. Here’s a new release that fixes and improves cache handling.
Given how fast uv and slow actions/cache are, this is mostly about reducing the load on PyPI.
