My short story got longlisted by space cat press. Apparently my prize is an appearance on a list in a newsletter lmao.

It's a little bit of "rejected with the highest honors" but still satisfies that itch for external validation. As celebration, I wrote up a blog post about what the story means to me and some of the fun "craft" bits that went into it.
