My firm is seeing a rise of inquiries that involve crypto mayhem. I've spoken to so many lawyers in my region and I'm sure there are a few that can speak this language, I have yet to meet one. This niche is growing, tax season is upon us, people are getting wrecked my memecoin degeneracy and there are almost no lawyers who can explain: 1) to the the client that just because you lost your cash in crypto scam degeneracy doesnt mean you won't have be obligated to describe where all that money went if asked; and 2) explain to a judge what it means to loose access to a private key and why funds are unrecoverable; and 3) that so many actors in this space are completely anonymous and not findable and if they are given some token off an exchange its never coming back.
