Vivaldi does NOT call out or use Google's services. I am using Next DNS with logging enabled, so I know everything incoming and outgoing (all domains or IPs trying to resolve). Except for the Widevide media codecs that all web browsers who support DRM streaming (Netflix, for example), Vivaldi has not called out to Google. Surprisingly, Vivaldi almost never calls home either, except to check for updates.
Do you know what calls out all the time? Mozilla Firefox will not stop calling home to Mozilla or calling to Google. It is alarming how much Firefox with no browser extension (add-ons) will call out.
