I get your point about people gaming HN. Like most social/comment focused places on the Internet, there's always a cesspool component to it.
In this case though, the "game" is using an LLM to get the user to keep combining items, so you start with basic elements and can end up making a fire flower or a Phoenix or whatever. So it is a bit interesting (if LLM is interesting, I guess)
