I’m not sure what the appropriate reaction is to someone who seems to somewhat routinely insert having thoughts of suicide into otherwise normal conversations. On the one hand, I don’t think I’m qualified to talk anyone out of it if that is truly their intention. On the other hand, is this person talking just to me this way for a reason or are they like this with everyone?
