Love this niche bitcoin podcast, because it’s so pure. The part about thinking what your grandchildren think about you is super interesting. ~42:00. Today when we walked half the day, Sanne (nprofile…z4gy) on crouches with our little baby and I with Otis in the baby carrier I told her how proud I was of my grandmother. And her 13 children, when my mom was 7 years old her father died. One of my uncles worked day and night to make sure everyone had enough and had a severe burnout. My mom remembers that after working many days without sleep he kept on praying at some point at the bed. It had a huge impact on her as a small child. That uncle built one of the largest civil contracting businesses a long time ago. The family businesses, fights and celebrations have been an enormous influence on me. Because they have delivered a lot of proof of work. Just like my parents have and still do. This makes you realize and think about what you leave behind. The pictures of my uncle are still online to be found luckily. His grandchildren built a museum for him. It’s about proof of work.
