The point is that people were misled into thinking Covid is spread by droplets and someone would basically have to sneeze on you, but that was all based on erroneous assumptions that have since been proven incorrect. No, ofc Covid is not smoke. But Covid gets aerosolized and can travel great distances as smoke can. Transmission can and does happen outside. The aerosolized virus can linger in poorly ventilated spaces for HOURS.
