Yeah, problem is that every platform is different. I suspect you have IvyBridge one though, as there's some code for that on gerrit.
I did confirm that none of x86 MacBooks used BootGuard (at least until T2 rolled along), so all Apple's x86 (non-T2) machines should be coreboot-able, just need quite a bit of work (but thanks to schematics/boardviews available, it would be fairly trivial to get all power management and everything working correctly).
