Anyone thinking about the death of collaborative open source as we know it today? Think about what happened to stack overflow, with llm on the rise, there is zero incentive for knowledge sharing on the platform. I believe something similar would happen with github but not from less new repository but from less collaboration. No maintainer is going to want to deal with AI slop from another contributor. There are second and third order effects to these things not being considered.
